Equipment

Ingredients

  • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons white wine vinegar *or red wine vinegar
  • 1 small lemon *juiced
  • 1 & ½ teaspoons Italian seasonings *see note below
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese

Recipe notes:

Oil & Vinegar: If you like rich flavor, add more oil. If you like tang, add more vinegar or lemon juice! You can customize this dressing to fit your personal preference.
Italian seasonings blend: I use Kroger brand, but you can use your favorite.
General: I love using lidded jars for salad dressing. You can also buy a pack of lids for your mason jars if you need (just make sure to get the right size).

Instructions

  • Add olive oil, vinegar and lemon juice to a jar or small bowl.
½ cup extra virgin olive oil, 3 tablespoons white wine vinegar, 1 small lemon
  • Add seasonings and parmesan cheese. Place a lid on the jar and shake well. If you don't have a lidded jar you can use a whisk to combine!
1 & ½ teaspoons Italian seasonings, ½ teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon paprika, ¼ teaspoon garlic powder, ¼ teaspoon onion powder, ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper, 1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
  • Add dressing to your favorite salad or use as a marinade for chicken. Enjoy!

Storage

  • Refrigerate dressing in a lidded jar or airtight container for 3-5 days.
Dressing will separate, this is normal! The olive oil will rise to the top and harden once it's been in the fridge for a while. Simply leave dressing on the countertop, at room temperature, for 5-10 minutes and the oil will soften again. Then, give it a good shake before use.
