EXPERT TIPS:
- Don't overmix dough: combine ingredients as gently as possible and leave dough crumbly! This will create nice texture in your scones.
- Almond flour: I like using Wellbee's Almond Flour for this recipe. When baking with almond flour your want it to be blanched and SUPER fine. This brand truly is very fine and works great for all kinds of gluten free baking!

Chloe says
These were amazing!!! The only change I made was for the glaze-- I replaced the powdered sugar with honey and mixed the glaze ingredients in a saucepan on low heat until mixed well together, then when it cooled, I added 1 tsp of almond extract instead of the 1/4 tsp recommended. Once the scones were baked and slightly cooled, I drizzled this orange honey glaze on top and WOW!! they were incredibly delicious with a nice bright flavor from the fresh orange juice and zest! Thank you for sharing this wonderfully delicious and nutritious scone recipe with us!

Sheri says
just made this recipe. In fact, they are in the oven as I write this. I felt it was a fairly easy recipe. They look delicious 😋. I can't have sugar because I had cancer, so I am not making the glaze, but I think they will be good without. I used Costco almond flour and used walnuts instead of pecans and I used avocado oil. Thank you for sharing!

Hi, Sheri! Thank you so much for the rating and comment. I'm glad you found the recipe easy to follow and I hope you are enjoying your scones - I definitely think they will still be awesome without the glaze!
